The UR new generation store acrylic customization project undertaken by JAFFA DESIGN PLASTIC is an important component of the brand's spatial upgrade strategy. Centered on the core design language of Minimalist, Premium and Transparent, the project deeply integrates the unique optical properties of acrylic material with the industrial and wabi-sabi spatial tone, creating a shopping environment that combines artistic sense and commercial practicality.

We provided end-to-end custom services for this project, ranging from design development, precision prototyping and mass production to on-site installation, covering all acrylic decorative and display components in the store. For the store's several-meter-high double-height atrium area, we designed and fabricated large-scale suspended transparent acrylic display cabinets. This display system is composed of multiple groups of high-transparency acrylic boxes spliced together, spanning the entire atrium space to form a visually striking vertical display belt. To ensure structural stability, we concealed high-strength metal support frames inside the acrylic, which not only meets the load-bearing requirements for hanging garments but also preserves the transparent texture of acrylic. All joints adopt high-precision seamless bonding technology, and the edges are treated with diamond polishing, presenting an integrated crystal-like effect as a whole, making the clothes seem to float in the air and become an artistic installation of the space.

In the internal area division of the store, we abandoned traditional solid partition walls and adopted transparent acrylic partition display cabinets to softly separate different product categories. This design not only achieves functional zoning but also maintains the overall openness of the space, allowing customers' sightlines to penetrate freely and enhancing spatial fluidity and exploratory feel. The acrylic partition cabinets also serve a display function, with multiple shelves inside to showcase seasonal featured products, perfectly combining spatial separation and merchandise display. All cabinet edges are rounded to improve safety and add a soft visual touch.

Illuminated acrylic is the most widely used element in this project. We created various forms of illuminated display carriers for the store, including curved island display tables, model illuminated bases, arched illuminated display walls and built-in illuminated display cabinets. All illuminated components adopt a design combining built-in LED light strips and acrylic light-diffusing panels to ensure uniform and soft light without glare or dark areas. The curved island tables are made using a one-piece thermoforming process with a smooth and delicate surface, and the built-in warm white lighting shines through from the bottom, making the displayed accessories, shoes and bags more exquisite. The model illuminated bases present the color and texture of clothing in the best way through upward lighting, effectively enhancing the attractiveness of the products.

To meet the high-frequency merchandise rotation needs of fast fashion brands, we designed a modular acrylic display system. The multi-layer shelves of the arched background wall and the shelves of the built-in display cabinets can be flexibly adjusted in height according to product dimensions. All acrylic shelves are made of high-hardness scratch-resistant sheets with a special surface treatment that resists scratches and abrasion from daily use, maintaining long-term aesthetics. The modular design not only reduces later maintenance costs but also provides great flexibility for store display adjustments, allowing the brand to quickly update the spatial display effect according to seasonal and trend changes.

The UR brand logo on the checkout counter background wall is the visual focus of the entire space. We adopted thick acrylic laser cutting technology to accurately restore every detail of the brand font. The logo surface is finished with matte black and equipped with a backlighting system, with light shining evenly from the edges of the letters to create a premium suspended luminous effect. This design not only ensures high recognition of the brand logo but also perfectly unifies with the minimalist style of the overall space. The logo is installed using a concealed fixing method, with no visible screws or connectors on the surface, presenting ultimate simplicity and exquisiteness.

True premium quality is reflected in every detail. We applied acrylic material to various functional details of the store, including shopping bag storage box signs, fire hydrant signs, and directional signs. All signs are made using laser engraving technology with clear, sharp and durable fonts. The shopping bag storage box adopts a combination of stainless steel and acrylic, with the "SHOPPING BAG" text on the front presented through acrylic inlay technology, which is both practical and beautiful. These seemingly small details together constitute the overall texture of the space, allowing customers to feel the brand's care and taste everywhere during the shopping process.
